Photos: Greenport hosts 168th Washington’s parade

The Greenport Fire Department held its 168th annual Washington’s Birthday parade on Saturday afternoon. As light snow fell, fire departments from both Suffolk and Nassau paraded down Front Street to the cheers of a small but enthusiastic crowd.
Joining the firefighters were local politicians, the NJROTC and a pipe band that traveled all the way from Amityville.
