New Suffolk Chowderfest moved to Monday

Looking to take advantage of better weather on Monday, the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund will hold its 5th annual Chowderfest on Memorial Day rather than Saturday.

The event will still take place from noon to 3 p.m. near Cutchogue Harbor at First and Main Streets and offer locally prepared chowders, barbecue, live music, children’s activities an a perennial plant sale. Proceeds will benefit the restoration and revitalization of the shorefront site.

Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 the day of the event and are available by calling 556-0806 or online at newsuffolkwaterfront.org.
