LIPA estimates the outages should be repaired within the hour, according to the LIPA outage map, as the temperatures soar into the 90s for the fourth straight day.
Southold Town Police received reports of a power outage in Southold around 1:20 p.m. Traffic control officers are directing cars at traffic lights without power.
