Greenport teens make their TV debut in ‘Evil Twins’
Two Greenport teens will portray a pair of English gangsters in an episode of the true-crime television series “Evil Twins,” airing tonight at 10 p.m. on Investigation Discovery.
John and Matthew Drinkwater, both juniors at Greenport High School, will play twin brothers Reginald and Ronald Kray, respectively.
The Kray brothers were suspected of carrying on the bulk of organized crime in London during the 1950s and 1960s with their gang “The Firm.” They both died roughly 15 years ago.
The Drinkwater twins, both aspiring actors, will depict the Kray brothers in their teenage years for about 10 minutes in the hour-long episode called “Twin Kings of London.”
Viewers who miss tonight’s episode can catch it again Wednesday, July 24 at 1 a.m. and Sunday, July 28 at 6 p.m. Check local listings for information.
