Cops: Sleeping man had drugs, stolen credit card

A Greenport man was arrested Sunday after police found him asleep on the front porch of a closed business in the village Sunday morning, police said.

Elvir Antontio Leon-Ulloa, 26, was taken into custody about 9:30 a.m. after police found him intoxicated and asleep. Mr. Antontio found to have a bag of cocaine, as well as a stolen credit card, in his wallet, police said.

Mr. Antontio was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of stolen property

He was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a court appearance and until his immigration status could be determined.
