Southold man arrested for DWI after crash

A Southold Man was arrested on drunk driving charges after a crash in Southold Tuesday evening, police said.

Nicholas Koehler, 24, was heading south on Oaklawn Avenue in a Ford truck at around 5 p.m. when he struck another vehicle driven by a Southold woman, police said. Mr. Koehler failed several roadside sobriety tests, according to a report.

Ms. Koehler was charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said. No injuries were reported.

He was taken to police headquarters and held overnight for arraignment.
