Popular Long Island author signs new novel at BookHampton

Author Nelson DeMille made the rounds at BookHampton stores Saturday, signing copies of his new book “The Quest.”

DeMille, who lives in Garden City and often sets his books on Long Island, began his day at the location on Love Lane in Mattituck. His latest book is about four people searching for the Holy Grail.

Mr. DeMille’s previous titles include “The General’s Daughter,” “The Gold Coast” and the North Fork-set “Plum Island,” a fictional mystery featuring the animal disease research center.
