Cops: Greenport man arrested on drug charges

A 42-year-old Greenport man was arrested for driving while impaired by drugs Friday night, Southold Town police said.

Frank A. Rizzo Jr. was stopped for a traffic violation at 7 p.m. on Route 48 in Cutchogue, police said. Mr. Rizzo was found to be impaired by drugs, police said. He was transported to headquarters and held for arraignment.

Police did not release additional information.
