Elizabeth Ann Toy

Elizabeth Ann Toy of Cutchogue died Sept. 25 at Stony Brook University Hospital after a three-year battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was 30 years old.

Born in Riverhead Dec. 9, 1982, to Ann (Wendel) Toy, she attended Greenport High School and for the past several years had worked as a secretary in the Greenport and Riverhead offices of East End Nephrology. She lived in Greenport for most of her life, moving to Cutchogue two years ago.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Toy is survived by her son, Matthew Gomez; her sister, Christine Toy-Corwin of Florida; and her brother Anthony, of Greenport. She was predeceased by her brother William in 2010.

The family received visitors Sept. 29 at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. A funeral service was held Sept. 30 at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport, followed by burial at the church cemetery.
