Cops: Man drove drunk with two kids in car
A 22-year-old man was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge early Saturday after he was caught driving drunk with two young children in his vehicle, Southold Town police said.
Justo Fajadro of Brentwood was pulled over on Sound Avenue near Aldrich Lane about 3:20 a.m. after police saw him driving in and out of his lane, according to a police statement. Police determined he was intoxicated and arrested him at the scene.
The officer also found two children — age 2 and 7 — inside the vehicle, according to the statement.
Mr. Fajadro was charged with felony DWI under Leandra’s Law and was held for arraignment.
