Southold school board to vote on contracts, New Suffolk tuition

The Southold school board is expected to vote on several personnel items and contract agreements at Wednesday night’s regular meeting.

Resolutions to approve new hires and contracts are listed in the meeting’s agenda, including contract ratifications with the Southold Administrators Association and the Civil Service Employees Association.

No other details about the remaining agreements mentioned in the agenda were immediately available.

The school board is also expected to vote on a New Suffolk Elementary School District tuition adjustment to $19,150, which is a 4.01 percent increase. New Suffolk is a pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade district that sends its secondary students to Southold.

The public portion of the meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
