Mildred C. Martin

Former Cutchogue resident Mildred C. Martin of Waccabuc, N.Y., died Oct. 26 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco. She was 91 years old.

She was born Aug. 17, 1922, in New York City to James and Mildred O’Rourke. Family members said she was a homemaker who belonged to Sacred Heart Parish in Cutchogue.

Ms. Martin was predeceased by her husband, Lee M.J. Martin, in 2008 and by two daughters, Stacey and Pam. She is survived by her daughters Candice Clatterbuck of Virginia and Milissa, of Waccabuc; her son, Kevin, of Greenport; her sister, Carol Powers of Florida; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors Oct. 29 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A funeral service took place Oct. 30 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Queens.
