Planning board preview: New barn, subdivisions

The Southold Town Planning Board will review various projects during its work session today, Nov. 18. Agenda items include:

• Colony Pond, a proposal for a standard subdivision of a 13.5-acre parcel into five lots on the south side of Colony Road in Southold;

• The Orchards, a proposal for a standard subdivision that would divide a 13-acre parcel into five lots at 2595 Orchard Street in Orient;

• Brostar, LLC (Spanos), a proposed site plan for the approval of an existing site on 330 Main Street in Greenport that includes a gas station, 1,200-square foot service center and 621-square foot convenience store; and

• The construction of a 2,375-square foot barn on a 22-acre parcel located on the north side of Main Road in Orient.

The Southold Town Planning Board will meet from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. this afternoon at the Southold Town Annex Board Room on the second floor of the Capital One Bank Building on Main Road in Southold.

The Planning Board will go into executive session at 2:30 p.m. to discuss legal advice from the Town Attorney and will begin reviewing applications at 3 p.m.
