Cops: Southold man arrested for DWI

A Southold man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Saturday afternoon, according to Southold Town police.

Charles Hall, 49, was stopped for failing to maintain his lane while driving on Route 48 near Bridge Lane in Cutchogue around 4:30 p.m., police said.

Mr. Hall was found to be intoxicated and transported to police headquarters where he is being held awaiting morning arraignment, according to a police report.
