Mattituck High School is the site today for the 17th annual North Fork Invitational.

The Tuckers, who are off to a terrific start this season with one of the deepest teams they’ve ever had, finished third in the tournament last year. Equaling that performance won’t be easy given the stiff competition. Connetquot returns to the tournament looking for its fourth straight title. And Rocky Point is wrestling as well. The Eagles were runner-ups last year and are one of the top teams in the county.

Other teams competing include Riverhead, Miller Place, North Babylon, West Babylon, Half Hollow Hills East, East Hampton and Bay Shore.

Wrestling kicked off this morning and will continue all day. The finals should start between 5 and 6 p.m. Check back tonight for a full recap from today’s tournament.
