Cops: Parolee wanted on warrant arrested in Greenport
Southold Town police and state parole officers arrested a 28-year-old Greenport man who was wanted on a parole warrant Wednesday, according to a police statement.
Detectives from Southold helped arrest Marcus Ameden at his residence in Greenport at noon, police said. Information on what the warrant was issued for was not provided by police.
He was taken into custody “without incident” and was taken to the Suffolk County jail to be held for a parole hearing, police said.
