Suffolk County Historical Society offering ‘History Alive’ grants

“History Alive” grants of up to $500 to help underwrite the cost of new exhibitions, publications and special projects are now available to local nonprofit history organizations through the Suffolk County Historical Society.

To apply, groups must submit a one-page proposal describing the project and the need for funds, as well as proof of non-profi t status. Images and brochures should be included. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants will be notifi ed within four weeks of submission.
