Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell is giving his fifth annual State of the Town address tonight.The speech will focus on the town’s accomplishments in 2013 as well as its goals for 2014 and beyond. Talking points will include a discussion of the town’s fiscal status, follow-up of Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts, legislative updates and planning initiatives.
“I look forward to sharing highlights of the many achievements of 2013, as well as defining a vision with residents of goals that they wish to attain in the future” Mr. Russell said in a statement.
The community is invited to comment. Written reports of town departments will be available for distribution and the address will be taped for Channel 22.
The State of the Town address starts at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room.
