Nancy Kreppein will tell you how proud she and her husband are of their son Peter, who recently soloed at Farmingdale State College’s flight program while she “watched and prayed!” In December, he graduated magna cum laude from SUNY/Albany with a degree in journalism. During college, he interned with the Times Union and worked at an NBC TV affiliate. He always liked computers and worked part-time doing IT at the college, which eventually turned into a full-time job there.

Just imagine taking a picture of an item, having a computer transmit the image to a printer and having a plastic 3D version of the item emerge from the printer. That’s exactly what the 3D printer on display at the library can do. It will be on display only until Saturday, March 8, so be sure to stop in and check it out.

May luck be your companion, may friends stand by your side, may history remind us all of faith and pride, may God bless us with happiness and may love and faith abide. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
