William D. Pembroke

William D. (Denny) Pembroke of Greenport died March 7. He was 73.

He was born Dec. 3, 1940, to Marguerite (Hoffman) and William Pembroke. Mr. Pembroke served in the Air National Guard and was employed for many years as an accountant with International Paper Company. 

Family members said he was a proud member of the Greenport Fire Department and also loved spending time at the beach, going to Disney World on family vacations and gardening.

Mr. Pembroke was predeceased by his wife Patricia and is survived by his children, Kevin; Christine Glenn; Sheila Warner and Sean and eleven grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, March 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Miller Place. A funeral service will take place Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
