Photos: ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ premiers Friday

The drama “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” based on Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel, opens Friday at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. The play focuses on a rebellious patient of a mental institution who takes on the iron-fisted head nurse.

Cast members include Alan Stewart, Rebecca Edana, Wade Karlin, Rusty Kransky, Peter Peterson, Matt Orr, Derek Hoffman, John Hudson, Ken Rowland, Lena Trbojevic, Jim Pearsall, Robert Wesson, Laura Pace, Tara O’Shea, Jennifer Eager and Jose Coropuna. The director is Bob Kaplan; Deanna Andes is producer.

Performances will take place March 14-16, 21-23 and 28-30. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Free pre-show receptions will be held Friday and March 22 at 7 p.m. The actors will hold talk-back sessions following the March 23 and 30 performances.
