Blood drive scheduled at Mattituck firehouse Saturday
The Mattituck Fire Department and Lions Club will host their 12th annual Blood, Eyeglass and Winter Coat Drive at the firehouse on Pike Street Saturday.
The drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Blood donors must have a valid ID and know their Social Security number. They must also be at least 110 pounds, and between the ages of 16 to 76 years old.
Parental permission is required for 16 year olds to give blood. Any who have gotten a tattoo in the past year are ineligible, fire officials said.
