Easter and Passover both celebrate spring and hope. You may be interested to know that they were destined to coincide. The First Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. determined that Easter should always fall on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox.

As a result, Easter remained without a fixed date but proximate to the full moon, which coincided with the start of Passover on the 15th of Nissan. A happy, liberating Passover and Easter to all!
