New Suffolk school to present budget proposal tonight
New Suffolk Common School board president Tony Dill is expected to give a presentation on his 2013-14 preliminary spending plan at tonight’s 7 p.m. school board meeting.
Among the budget items to be discussed is a proposal for lengthening the school day, Mr. Dill said in an interview Tuesday.
The board will also be discussing the possible tenure of English and social studies teacher Nicole Pollina, who is nearing the end of the three-year probationary teaching period.
