To the editor:
We all understand why there is so much sand on our roads after this winter. Is it possible to scoop/sweep up the sand that is lying on both sides of our roads and store it up for next winter?
The large amount of sand on our roads is causing problems, not only for those on bikes or walking, but the runoff that’s draining into our precious waters.
I’m pretty sure we can save taxpayers money too!
Doesn’t it just make sense to remove the sand from our roads and reuse it next year?
