Several North Fork marshes will be treated for mosquito larvae Tuesday morning, Suffolk County officials announced.

The Suffolk County Department of Public Works’ Division of Vector Control will treat Great Hog Neck in Southold, and Greenport marshes located at Kerwin Boulevard, Pipes Neck Creek and Pipes Cove by helicopter from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. using Vectobac 12 AS pesticide, officials said.

In the Town of Riverhead, aerial spraying is planned for Indian Island in Riverhead; Overlook, Crescent Duck Farm, and Aquebogue Farm in Aquebogue; Iron Point in Flanders; and Millar Farm in Jamesport, officials said.

If weather conditions prevent the scheduled work, officials said treatment will continue on the next suitable day.
