Thomas William Shedrick

Lifelong Greenport resident Thomas William Shedrick died May 5 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. He was 59. 

He was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Greenport to Carrie L. (Daniel) and Oscar L. Shedrick. Mr. Shedrick graduated from Greenport High School and Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y. He was self-employed as a landscaper.

Mr. Shedrick was predeceased by his father; his brother, Willie; and his sister Patty. He is survived by his mother, Carrie and his sisters Carol Douglas and Geraldine.

The family received visitors May 9 at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. A funeral service took place May 10 at the funeral home, officiated by Elder Eugene Jefferson. Interment took place at Southold Presbyterian Cemetery.
