Mercy H.S. to host outdoor movie night for East End teens

Bishop McGann-Mercy Diocesan High School is hosting a free outdoor dinner and movie night opened to all East End high school students on Friday, July 11.

The school’s “Mercy Night” will be held on its baseball field and start at 7 p.m. with an “Outdoor Celebration of the Eucharist,” led by Rev. Gerald Cestare, followed by dinner and a movie under the stars.

A school spokeswoman said Thursday the movie selection hasn’t been picked yet.

All participants should bring a lawn chair or blanket. The event will be held inside if it rains.
