Katherine A. Clark of Folcroft, Pa., passed away peacefully Aug. 4, 2014, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Hazelton, Pa., and grew up in Greenport and Cutchogue.

Katherine married the love of her life, Clarence “Whistle” Clark, and soon after moved to Folcroft, Pa., where they began a lifelong adventure raising four beautiful daughters.

Katherine was a fabulous homemaker and an accomplished seamstress, making all of her daughters’ wedding dresses as well as many of the uniforms and flags for the 507 Hornets Drum & Bugle Corps. She loved to crochet and had a passion to travel the world, particularly sunny Aruba.

Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, “Whistle,” along with her children: Laura and Steve, Kipper and Frank, Valerie and Kevin, JoAnn and Jim; and 10 grandchildren: Tim, Ken, Erin, Katie, Jaime, Scott, Kim, Nate, Jera, and Mandolin. In addition, Katherine has 11 amazing great-grandchildren: Flynn, Aubrey, Kevin, Andre, Erik, Markus, Nathan, Ava, Abby, Jaylen, and Jace.

As Whistle always said, “Katherine is “MyTweeter,” the love of my life.”

Services took place in Pennsylvania. Interment took place at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.
