Power outage planned in Greenport tomorrow

Villagers living in the northeastern part of Greenport can expect a brief power outage early Tuesday, according to village officials.

Starting at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning village electric plant crews will be shutting off power in order to restore circuits that went offline causing a village-wide blackout last week, village officials said.

The outage is expected to be brief, however, no timeframe was provided.
