Cops: Man was driving high on drugs in Southold

A Cutchogue man was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs in Southold early Tuesday morning, Southold Town police said. 

Cody Huntley, 21, was stopped for failing to maintain his lane on Route 25 at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. He failed a field sobriety test and police determined he was impaired by drugs, according to a press release.

He was also charged with resisting arrest. Police did not detail in a release what specifically led to that charge.

He was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment, police said.
