Cops: Greenport man caught driving drunk without license
A Greenport man was arrested Sunday for driving drunk with a suspended license in the village, Southold Town police said.
Police pulled over Ryan Beckley, 35, at around 2:10 a.m. after he failed to maintain his lane and made a left hand turn signal while turning right onto Broad Street, officials said.
After he failed a sobriety test, Mr. Beckley was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain his lane and other traffic violations, police said.
He was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment, officials said.
