Business Beat: Southold woman appointed sales manager

Michele Della Croce of Cutchogue, a realtor with Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Mattituck, was recently awarded the Housing Our Military With Excellent Service certification by the New York State REALTOR Institute, according to a release. Ms. Della Croce received the honor after completing 15 hours of specific real estate education developed to assist realtors in “meeting the unique housing and financial needs of military personnel and veterans,” the release states. 

• Carol Szynaka of Southold was recently appointed sales manager for the Mattituck, Cutchogue, Greenport and Shelter Island offices of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, according to a release. Allison Mehan of Cutchogue was named assistant manager.

With more than a decade’s experience in the field, Ms. Szynaka is one of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s top producers overall, the release states. She’s a member of the prestigious Gold Circle of Excellence and was the North Fork’s top producing agent in 2013.

Ms. Mehan, according to the release, is a licensed salesperson who joined Daniel Gale Sotheby’s in 2014. She was previously an office manager at CNYC Properties in New York.
