Cops: East Marion man caught with suspended license

A 45-year-old East Marion man was arrested for driving with a suspended license Wednesday, Southold Town police said. 

Pierre Anstis was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, police said. Mr. Anstis was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 48 in Greenport at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

He was released on bail to appear in Southold Justice Court at a later date.
