Cutchogue News: Steak night at fire department set for March 7

Twenty-two days until the first day of spring! Despite the cold, snow and ice, you know it is coming. Warmth radiates from the mid-day sun (despite frigid temperatures) and at the end of the day, where there was once darkness, there is now light.

The Cutchogue Fire Department welcomes its two newest members, Michael Kiel and T.J. Behr, the 566th and 567th CFD firefighters to serve the community. T.J., a second-generation firefighter and longtime CFD Junior, had the honor of being sworn in by his father, 2nd Assistant Chief Lawrence Behr. The CFD and the community welcome you both and wish you well. Everyone can support the department at the 19th annual CFD Chief’s Steak Night March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets, $30, include a steak dinner, dessert and beverages, including local wines and beers.
