A workshop with Job Corps, a federal organization that provides hands-on career training and education for income-eligible youth and young adults ages 16 to 24 will be offered at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in the Southold Town Hall meeting room.
The program is hosted by the Southold Town Youth Bureau. Job Corps gives career training programs in construction, health care, automotive/auto body repair, homeland security, retail sales and services, hospitality, information technology, transportation and more. Training is free for those who qualify.
Parents and youths are welcome; there is no fee.
