A mysterious dinner party offers characters opportunities to remake their lives. Northeast Stage’s production of the J.M. Barrie play ‘Dear Brutus’ will be held April 10-12 and 17-19 at Holy Trinity Church in Greenport.

The play’s name — in which dinner party guests take a walk in an enchanted wood and have a chance to live out their dreams — is taken from the Shakespeare line ‘The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves … ‘

The show is directed by Suzette Reiss. The Cast includes Cate Clifford, Deb Rothaug, Rebekah White, Grace Marie Johnson, Hannah Gray, Alan Stewart, Jere Jacob, Kevin Monsell, Jim Pearsall, Dave Markel and Ella Watts.

Performances benefit Shakespeare in the Park 2015. An opening night reception will be held Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m., sponsored by Community Action Southold Town as part of its 50th anniversary celebration; personal care items, gift cards or monetary donations accepted.

Tickets: $17 in advance; $20 at the door. 477-2972, [email protected], northeaststage.org.
