Angelo C. Timpone

Angelo C. Timpone of Mattituck, formerly of Nutley, N.J. and Baldwin, died April 10 his home. He was 87. 

He was born July 13, 1927, in Manhattan to Charles and Raffaella Timpone. Mr. Timpone served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1947 and worked as a sub contracts administrator for Grumman in Bethpage.

Mr. Timpone volunteered at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and was a former member of North Fork Italian American Club.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Predeceased by his wife, Ella, in 1998 and his daughter, Carla, in 2004, Mr. Timpone is survived by his daughter Debbie Sidlauskas of Mattituck; his sons, Dr. Charles of Riverhead and Nicholas of Rahway, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, April 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.
