Cops: Greenport man arrested for driving without a license

A 24-year-old Greenport man was arrested Saturday for driving without a license, Southold Town police said.

Cody Harwin was driving in a 1993 Chevrolet pick-up when he was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign on First Street in Greenport just past 7 p.m., police said.

He was found to be driving with six suspensions on his license and was arrested, police said.

Mr. Harwin was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with an expired license and failure to stop for a stop sign, police said.

He was later released on cash bail.
