Supplies sought to help aid earthquake victims

The Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery in Cutchogue is collecting supplies and goods to help earthquake victims in Nepal following the disaster last month that has killed more than 9,000 people. 

Those interested in donating can drop off supplies at the Photography Gallery at 25425 Main Road in Cutchogue during its open hours (Thursday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.) through May 31.

The list of items sought includes:

  • Tylenol (or generic acetaminophen)
  • Wound dressing supplies and bandages
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Powdered infant formula
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Tools (shovels, pick axes and work gloves)
  • Buckets
  • Heavy-duty garbage bags
  • Water purification tablets
  • Lifestraw personal walter filters
  • Tents
  • Tarps
  • Surgical supplies (general and orthopedic)
  • Glucometers & Non-expired Matching Test Strips.

The Gallery is working in conjuction with the humanitarian organization, AFYA Foundation.
