Francisco Company Sierra

Francisco Company Sierra of Mattituck died May 14. He was 58. 

He was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Aguas Buena, Puerto Rico, to Eugenia Concepcion Torres and Eusebio Sierra Vargas.

Mr. Sierra worked as a facility plant operator for Suffolk County Community College in Riverhead for 12 years.

Family members said he loved God and enjoyed gardening, observing nature, fishing and raising animals.

Mr. Sierra was predeceased by his son Joshua Charland Sierra and also by his parents. He is survived by his children, Naomi, of Jackson, Fla., Brittany, of Riverhead, and Francisco “Franky” and Gebriell, both of Mattituck; his stepchildren, Jonathan Malewicz and Victoria Perez, also of Mattituck; two grandsons; seven brothers; and five sisters.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 23, at Funeterio San Cristobal in Puerto Rico. Interment will take place in Puerto Rico.
