Video: League champions, Mattituck and Southold, prep for playoffs

One town, two champions.

Both the Mattituck and Southold baseball teams are beginning their playoff runs this week after each bringing home a league title. In the video above, players and coaches reflect back on the season so far and what they hope awaits in the future.

Southold is scheduled to play Pierson starting Tuesday in the Class C county finals while Mattituck takes on Port Jefferson in the Class B finals beginning Wednesday. Both series are a best-of-three.
