Arlene Joan Lewis

Former Greenport resident Arlene Joan “Susie” Lewis, longtime resident of San Francisco, Calif. died July 5. She was 81.

She was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Brooklyn to Norma (Clifford) and Harry Joseph Lewis and attended Greenport schools.

Ms. Lewis served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1956, achieving the rank of airman 2nd class.

For 30 years, Ms. Lewis was assistant vice president of customer service: cash management at Bank of America.

Predeceased by her brother, Harry; Ms. Lewis is survived by her spouse, Linda Masotti; her sister, Valerie Swain, her brother, William Lewis and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at St. Agnes R.C. Cemetery in Greenport, officiated by Father James Mary Atikins, CFR.

Arrangements were in the care of Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
