Charles Bernard Luscher Jr.

Charles Bernard Luscher Jr., 79, of Indian Land, S.C., passed away July 24, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center – Pineville.

Charles Luscher was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Queens, the son of the late Charles Bernard Luscher, Sr. and Maude Goodman Luscher. His beloved wife Rosmary Luscher also preceded him in passing in June of 2014.

Charles was a graduate of Brooklyn Tech in New York and owned and operated Luscher Air Conditioning.

Chuck married the love of his life Rosemary on Feb. 11, 1961, and from that marriage were blessed with four wonderful children. They lived most of their lives in East Marion. He was an avid fisherman and loved going on cruises and doing anything in a boat on the water. He also enjoyed teaching his grandchildren and fishing and boating.

Survivors include his children, Charlie, Jean Lepore (Domenic), Brian all of Charlotte, N.C. and Stephen (Karina) of Hollywood Fla.; his sister Barbara Grimes of Delray Beach, Fla.; and brother Jack (Lori) of Deer Park; and by his seven grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends was held July 27 at St. Matthew Catholic Church daily mass chapel in Charlotte, where a Mass of Christian Burial took place, officiated by Monsignor John J. McSweeney.
Interment took place at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews, N.C.
