Louis S. Zarzecki
Louis S. Zarzecki of Orient died July 30 at Stony Brook Veterans Home. He was 85.
He was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Mattituck to Joseph and Mary (Kobjenska) Zarzecki.
Mr. Zarzecki served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 and worked as a high-voltage lineman on Plum Island.
Family members said he enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Predeceased by his wife, Sandra, in 2003, Mr. Zarzecki is survived by his brothers, David Zazeski and Anthony Zarzecki; his sisters, Mary Kirwin, Josephine Sorenson, Nellie Falcigno and Rose Zazeski; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will take place Friday, Aug. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue, where a service will be held at 4:15 p.m. Cremation and interment will be private.
