Marion A. Terry of Cutchogue died suddenly on Oct. 17, 2015. 

She is survived by her son, Tom Lind; granddaughter, Avi Strohmeyer; sister, Anna Albertson, and brother, George, as well as nieces, nephews and her lifelong friend, Liz MacNish and family. She was predeceased by her son, Fritz Strohmeyer and her brother, Tommy Terry.

Marion graduated from Southold High School and the University of Albany with a degree in library science. She retired as a librarian from Mattituck High School.

Marion was active with many interests and hobbies. She attended the annual U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, performed with North Fork Chorale and volunteered with the Sunshine Society.

Marion will be deeply missed by her family and friends but we cherish and take with us many fond and loving memories of time spent with this wonderful person.

Funeral services will be held at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Willow Hill Cemetery in Southold. Pastor Tom MacLeod of North Fork United Methodist Church will officiate.

Memorial donations to Relay for Life or Cutchogue Fire Department Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
