Dennis Charles Palmer

Born July 25, 1936, in England, Dennis lived for the past 50 years in Speonk. He passed away suddenly Nov. 20, 2015, at home. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Christopher and Jeremy; his daughter, Nicole; his sister, Jean; and four granddaughters, Emma, Abigail, Mackenzie and Jordan. 

Dennis was an accomplished chef, working for House of Parliaments in London, England, and Cunard Cruise Lines and owning several of his own restaurants. Dennis also owned several other businesses throughout his life, including Hillside Antique and Flea Market in Pulaski, N.Y., and most recently, Riverhead Coal Yard.

Dennis loved his family, his work, spending time outdoors fishing, golfing, gardening and always staying active.

“Our father was an amazing man who gave so much and taught us to keep going no matter what got in our way. Dad, you are loved! You will be with us every day. We will see you again. Cheers!”

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Follett and Werner Funeral Home, 60 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach.

In lieu of flowers please spend one night having dinner with your family and toast Dennis.
