Cops: Southold woman charged with DWI after flipping car
A 37-year-old woman was arrested on drunk driving charges Monday after she crashed her vehicle in Southold causing it to flip, Southold Town police said.
Gloria Alsobrook of Southold was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee at around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Main Bayview Road and Jacobs Lane when her vehicle flipped twice, police said.
After Ms. Alsobrook left the accident scene, a witness followed her to Watersedges Road, officials said.
She was taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released, police said.
Ms. Alsobrook was charged with DWI and held for a morning arraignment, officials said.
In October 2014, she was also charged with DWI in Greenport, according to police reports.
