Cops: Westhampton Beach man caught driving drunk in Cutchogue

A Westhampton Beach man was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated after he was spotted driving out of his lane in Cutchogue Tuesday evening, Southold Town police said.

Police were called to Skunk Lane about 5:15 p.m. after someone reported seeing a vehicle failing to stay in its lane, according to a police report.

Eugeniusz Faron, 65, was pulled over and was found to be intoxicated, police said. He also was driving without a seat belt, according to a police report. He was arrested at the scene and held for arraignment, police said.
