Margaret Lupton White

Margaret Lupton White of Cutchogue died Jan. 24, 2016 in Bradenton, Fla. She was 101. 

The daughter of Virginia C. (Craven) and Robert M. Lupton, she was born Aug. 30, 1914, in Mattituck. She married Kendall C. White June 30, 1938, in Mattituck.

Margaret was a former member of the Canterbury Golf Club in Beachwood, Ohio and North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue. She was an avid bowler, golfer and bridge player.

Predeceased by her husband, in 1978; her sons Dr. Edward L. White in 2014 and Robert M. White in 2015; her grandson JR Tippery in 2003; her sisters Anne and Virginia Wickham and Millie Northridge and brothers John M. and Robert M. Lupton, Margaret is survived by her son Kendall G. White of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; two daughters, Margaret W. Gravelle of Oshkosh, Wis. and Peregrine Susan E. White of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters-in-law, Kathy Eliscu of Westbrook Maine and Kate Altman of New Suffolk; her sister Libbie Hammel of Pepin, Wis.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granchild and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, which will be determined at a later date and time will be in the care of Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue.
